Lamborghini Gallardo The Lamborghini Gallardo has the traditional sharp lines on its body as well as the speed that we are astounded by. In fact, the Gallardo has a 5.2 liter V-10 with 552 horsepower, and 398 pound feet of torque. Amazingly, the Gallardo is able to reach 201 mph and is able to accelerate from 0-60 in a mere 3.7 seconds. The transmission is moved to the rear axle, which helps to adjust the tuning of the springs, stabilizers, and tires. All of these changes help to increase the power as well as the speed of this super car. The Gallardo has been replaced by the Huracán; however, it still is seen as a well desired super car. The front facsia for the Gallardo has been updated. Whereas the outer air intake vents are now smaller allowing for a wide-open mouth in the center of the front fascia. This little change makes for a bold statement. Also, there is a pair of air intake vents that are slightly larger than last year’s model. Again, these subtle variations really do make a difference. Inside the cabin, you will notice that the driver’s seat is set in low-slung position like most race cars. The materials inside the vehicle are high end. There is a ton of leather and carbon fiber that are used on the trim as well as the instruments. Interestingly enough, Audi parts are influenced inside the Gallardo’s interior, which we are a huge fan of. The technology is in accordance with Audi’s system. You will see some of the same switchgear as well as navigation system. There is an automatic rear view image that comes up when reversing and a superior stereo system included. Lamborghini Gallardo and DMC DMC is a German tuner that produces aggressive new styling for high end vehicles. We recommend them because their products are high quality and their designs are distinct. DMC took the pre-facelift Lamborghini Gallardo, and created their package called the SOHO. This aerodynamic package includes new bumpers, revised side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser. As for the interior, DMC added premium leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim. For performance, DMC upgraded the ECU with an additional 40+ horsepower and 22 lb-ft. of torque. As for further developments, there has been an addition of a Super Veloce (SV) rear spoiler that was custom made for a customer. The whole wing was reengineered in order to fit the Gallardo and complement the aerodynamic requirements. This product is a special request, which you would have to contact DMC Germany for as it will not be part of any package.
This DMC unit is a complete part, it just bolts onto the original mounting points used by the original bumper but it offers additional down force coupled to the stunning looks seen on the latest Superleggera edition, and it gets even better: the entire bumper is made from carbon fiber, which can be painted to blend in with the rest of the car.
