Description
The iconic DMC Front Air Vent Covers in Carbon Fiber for the AMG C63 and C43. DMC products are certified by TUV, a German government approved authority for car safety standards.
The rear end of the C class is well designed and gives an aggressive stance on certain models. When Mercedes face-lifted the C class they designed plastic rear bumper flicks that sit around the outside of the vent, a nice little touch to make the rear look more aggressive and purposeful. DMC have taken that idea and improved on it by making genuine Carbon Fibre rear bumper flicks/spoilers for the front part of the car as well.
The fender flicks are made up of lightweight and strong Carbon Fibre and reinforced with a plastic composite. The flicks are then finished off in a high gloss lacquer, after which the carbon is hand polished.
Material Choice:
Choose Prepeg or Forged Carbon for best looks. Visible Carbon is good but tends to have curvier lines on this item due to the materials flexible nature.
Install:
Professional installation is recommend but not essential. The flicks can be retrofitted easily with no real tools, just bonding them onto the air vent surround. We do advise to bond the flicks on with glue but double sided tape can be used (but not recommended and done so at your own risk).
Gel Coat:
DMC Products come with a free Gloss or Matte Coating on all Carbon Fiber items, please leave a note at check out which one you like. If you don’t specify we will add a gloss base layer. However we suggest you to add one additional layer to match your country’s local UV and weather requirements as they differ throughout the world. We also suggest to wax and seal the item further, even though we include a base seal of high quality carnauba product. This can be protective in regions that have high humidity or rain.
