Brabus B900 Rocket Edition

In the middle of 2021, Brabus presented the 800 SUV Coupe based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ Coupe; however, the German tuning company didn’t stop there and decided to build an even stronger beast.

Brabus’ 900 Rocket Edition was recently unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show as one of, if not the fastest street-legal SUV with a top speed of 330 km/h. However, only 25 vehicles are planned due to exclusivity, and the cost of owning one that starts at 381,000 € per unit.

Underneath the exterior lies a twin-turbo V8 with an increased displacement of 4,407 cubic meters, as opposed to the 3,982 from before. Not to mention, larger turbochargers, forged pistons, longer connecting rods made of high-strength steel, a stiffer crankshaft, and more have been installed. All in all, the improved V8 can now create 900 hp (662 kW) and 1250 Nm of torque. These powerful capabilities are transferred to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The 900 Rocket Edition reaches 100 km/h in an impressive 3.2 seconds, and its top speed of 330 km/h puts it ahead of other well-known SUVs like the Bentley Bentayga Speed, Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, among many others.

Braking is enhanced with the addition of ventilated and cross-drilled carbon-ceramic discs measuring 400 millimeters in front and 360 millimeters in the rear. In addition, Brabus has also added its own control module to the air suspension system, which lowers the vehicle by 25 millimeters.

The design style has been updated to match that of the earlier Brabus 800 SUV Coupe, with visible carbon fiber accents on the new grille, front splitter, fender extensions, three-piece rear spoiler, diffuser, and other minor details. Buyers have the option to install a stainless steel sports exhaust system with four titanium tailpipes as well as active sound management.

As for finishes inside the car, customers can pick from any desired color in fine leather combined with Alcantara wood or carbon fiber.0
