Mansory Unveils Controversial Ferrari SF90 Spider with Power Boost

Spring has arrived, and Mansory is marking the season with a bold modification of the Ferrari SF90 Spider, introducing the F9XX variant. This tuned open-top supercar not only features distinctive exterior enhancements but also boasts a significant power boost, surpassing even the Lamborghini Revuelto in performance.

The Mansory-modified Ferrari SF90 Spider showcases a striking visual transformation, with various add-ons adorning the front bumper, hood, fenders, side skirts, and rear. The exterior is highlighted by a vibrant red hue, complemented by YT.5 Air aftermarket wheels, adding to its overall flamboyance. Inside, the cockpit receives a subtle upgrade with black suede upholstery and red accents, along with Mansory logos and additional trim elements.

Under the hood, Mansory has worked its magic to enhance the SF90 Spider’s performance, delivering an impressive output of 1,100 horsepower, translating to approximately 1,185 brake horsepower or 884 kilowatts, accompanied by 723 pound-foot (980 Nm) of torque. This power boost enables the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed reaching 221 mph (355 kph), surpassing its stock counterpart.

Compared to the standard Ferrari SF90, the Mansory-tuned variant boasts an additional 99 horsepower (100 ps/74 kW), resulting in enhanced acceleration and higher top speeds. The stock SF90 Spider achieves a 0-62 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 211 mph (340 kph), powered by its 986 hp (1,000 ps/736 kW) 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine, aided by three electric motors.

Despite its high-performance capabilities, Mansory claims that the modified SF90 Spider maintains a relatively efficient fuel consumption rate of approximately 28.7 US mpg (8.2 l/100 km), thanks in part to its hybrid powertrain configuration.

While it remains unclear whether this specific model is a bespoke commission or a demonstration vehicle available for purchase, Mansory offers the potential for similar enhancements to other SF90 models. However, prospective buyers should be prepared for the significant investment required, as Mansory’s customizations are known to command a premium price tag.
