The Porsche 991 GT3 RS is an iconic machine, but with the softer curves compared to its predecessor, it can sometimes appear less aggressive than its pedigree suggests. DMC is here to change that with our new range of dedicated 991 Carbon Fiber parts.

Introducing the iconic DMC Side Skirts, crafted from premium Carbon Fiber. These side skirts are the perfect finisher for your car’s profile, providing the visual aggression the 991 platform deserves. While retaining the basic OEM style, the DMC carbon creation features a slightly modified, more aggressive pure carbon look that avoids appearing overtly aftermarket.
 
 

 

Precision Engineering & Quality Assurance

– TÜV Certified: DMC products are certified by TÜV, a German government-approved authority for car safety standards, ensuring top-tier quality and safety compliance.
– Superior Construction: Our Side Skirts are made from lightweight and strong carbon fiber, produced via vacuum infusion for superior strength and a flawless finish.
– Quality Control: Every part is meticulously pulled from the mould, thoroughly checked, and tested before heading to the lacquer stage. Each skirt is inspected further for tolerances before being hand and machine polished.
 

Installation & Fitment

Installation is an add-on process, fitting directly under the OEM side panels—no need to remove the factory fenders. We estimate the fitment time to be around 50 minutes. For installation, use two-component automobile glue (Epoxy) as found in the DMC Tool Kit, and an optional additional screw may be used for security if desired. Although fitting is relatively straightforward, we always recommend using two trained professionals to undertake the install.

Carbon Fiber Finish Options

All DMC Carbon Fiber items include a base protective coating. Please specify your preference at checkout:
– Free Options: Gloss Coating or Matte Coating
– Default (if not specified): Gloss Base Layer
 
We recommend: Adding one additional layer of clear coat locally to match your region’s specific UV and weather requirements. Additionally, waxing and sealing the item further is highly recommended, especially in areas with high humidity or rainfall, even though we include a base seal of high-quality carnauba product.
