NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO California T Spectacular widebody version, 491 kW / 668 HP and a top speed of 325 km/h for the Ferrari California T The Ferrari California T is one of the world’s most sought-after roadsters. NOVITEC ROSSO, the leading refinement specialist for the sports cars from Maranello, now presents the spectacular N-LARGO carbon-fiber widebody version for the open two-seater. This conversion also includes three-piece high-tech forged wheels with diameters of 21 and 22 inches, as well as engine tuning that bumps the rated output to 491 kW / 668 HP. As a result, the thrilling sports car reaches a top speed of 325 km/h. An overall width of 202 centimeters and thus eleven centimeters wider than the production version: the conversion to the new NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO widebody version makes the Ferrari California T even more spectacular. The new concept is the logical continuation of the success story of the exciting N-LARGO version of the Ferrari F12. The bodywork conversion kit is made from extremely lightweight yet high-strength carbon fiber and was developed together with Vittorio Strosek. The German designer has unrivalled expertise in this field: in the 1980s, he was one of the pioneers in the development of thrilling widebody versions for the world’s most exclusive sports cars. This tradition continues seamlessly with the NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO bodywork conversion for the California T. The widebody version of the roadster is even more extreme and dynamic, and displays a rousing wasp waist thanks to the new wider front fenders and the fender flares on the rear axle. The front fenders, which add six centimeters in all to the front-axle width of the two-seater, replace the production parts in their entirety and make room for wheels designed specifically for this widebody version. The three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO NF5 NL alloys are manufactured using high-end forging technology. The wheels of size 9Jx21 on the front axle are mounted with size 255/30 ZR 21 Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires and transfer the steering and braking forces to the road. A ventilation slot integrated into the rear of the new bodywork components on either side purges the hot air from the carbon-ceramic brake discs and the brake calipers. On the rear axle, the width of the California T grows by a whopping eleven centimeters. To this end, strikingly styled fender flares were formed and seamlessly joined to the production bodywork. The larger wheel wells, for which matching fender liners were designed, offer space for NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO NF5 NL forged wheels of size 12Jx22. Their primary visual appeal stems from an extremely concave wheel spider with five delicate double spokes. They are mounted with Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires of size 315/25 ZR 22. The new rocker panels create an aerodynamically and visually perfect transition between the widened wheel arches at the front and rear. They have large air intakes that redirect the relative wind to the rear brakes. Of course, the NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO also has a distinctively styled face. To this end, a new front bumper was developed that is tailored to the wider front fenders. The larger side air intakes improve the supply of cooling air to the front brakes. What is more: thanks to their highly contoured shape, they are a factor in reducing lift on the front axle at high speeds. The same applies to the central front blade, which is optionally also available with a clear-coated carbon-fiber finish. The same material from motor racing is also used for the radiator grille and the surrounds of the air vents on the hood and the exterior mirrors. The rear bumper was also designed as one part and blends flawlessly with the N-LARGO fender flares. The integrated diffuser provides the perfect backdrop for the four tailpipes of the NOVITEC ROSSO high-performance exhaust system. It also increases downforce on the rear axle and can optionally be ordered with a clear-coated carbon-fiber finish. The aerodynamic-enhancement concept of the NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO widebody version was optimized in the wind tunnel and is rounded out with the new rear airfoil. A subtle rear spoiler lip is available as an alternative. Both spoiler variants are available in a clear-coated carbon-fiber version, as are the surrounds for the tail lamps and a roof skin offering full-blooded racing looks for the folding hard top of the California T. Additional individual highlights can be added in the form of black side marker lights and reflectors. The spectacular appearance of the widebody NOVITEC ROSSO N-LARGO with large forged staggered wheels that accentuate the wedge shape is further emphasized by the ride-height lowering of the sports car. The NOVITEC ROSSO sports springs lower the ride height of the Ferrari by about 35 millimeters, which also has positive effects on the handling thanks to the lowered center of gravity. To make it easier to navigate speed humps or ramps of underground parking garages or parking decks, NOVITEC ROSSO has developed a hydraulic front lift system for the California T. The front end of the car can be raised by 40 millimeters at the push of a button in the cockpit. The front end reverts to its original position automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h or at another push of the button. It goes without saying that NOVITEC ROSSO also offers powerful engine tuning for the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 of the California T. In the most powerful version of the N-LARGO the engine specialists mobilize 491 kW / 668 HP at 7,400 rpm and a peak torque of 871 Nm at a low 4,750 rpm. The output increase by 79.4 kW / 108 hp and the boost in torque by 96 Nm over the base engine is achieved with the help of two NOVITEC ROSSO N-TRONIC modules with meticulously calibrated mapping for the engine management system, and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. The performance of the California T improves accordingly: the tuned roadster sprints from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed increases to 325 km/h. Of course, the engine tuning not only benefits the performance figures: the even more spontaneous throttle response and the further optimized in-gear acceleration fascinate in everyday driving. Novitec Ferrari California T N-Largo is a visual treatment, it features more prominent aero parts, custom bumpers, and larger wheels, in front of the N-Largo feature a custom bumper with a two new air intakes, a spoiler lip, and a new grille. The apron is complemented with its new vented hood, at the side is a new side skirts with integrated air intakes, and around at the back, the eyes are greeted by a carbon boot spoiler and with the new diffuser with four fairly large tailpipes. A set of bespoke Novitec Rosso wheels and an optional upgrade package for performance kit and other parts.
