Stephen Curry-Inspired Le Mansory Ford GT Debuts in Under Armour Collaboration

Mansory has long established itself as a dominant force in luxury car customization, with a diverse portfolio spanning more than 26 automotive brands. Over the past three decades, the German tuner has transformed numerous high-performance vehicles, but one of its most striking creations is the Le Mansory—a radically modified Ford GT introduced in 2020 to mark the company’s 30th anniversary.

This bespoke Ford GT underwent extensive modifications, including a full carbon fiber body and a significant boost in performance. Mansory initially announced a production run limited to just three units, leaving enthusiasts speculating about their current whereabouts. However, a new, one-of-a-kind Le Mansory has recently emerged, making waves during the NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco.

This latest iteration, an exclusive promotional vehicle, has been designed for a national marketing campaign set to span the rest of the year. It serves as a bold advertisement for Under Armour’s newest apparel collection, marking the brand’s first collaboration with Mansory on such a scale.

Dubbed the Mansory x Under Armour Le Mansory, this special Ford GT distinguishes itself from its predecessors with a design inspired by basketball star Stephen Curry. Its exterior is dominated by a vibrant yellow hue, complemented by contrasting black elements. A closer inspection reveals that this version of the Le Mansory boasts a widened body—nearly two inches (five cm) broader than the original—alongside revised aerodynamics, despite its primary role as a showpiece rather than a track performer.

Retaining key elements from the original Le Mansory, such as the signature four-light front cluster and a cabin adorned with leather, carbon fiber, and Alcantara, this one-off model features unique black and yellow forged wheels measuring 21 inches.

Under the hood, the vehicle maintains Mansory’s performance enhancements, elevating the Ford V6 engine from 656 hp to an impressive 710 hp, with torque reaching 840 Nm. As a result, the car boasts a top speed of 220 mph (354 kph).

In addition to the car itself, Under Armour is preparing to launch a specially designed pair of Echo sneakers inspired by the Le Mansory’s aesthetic. These limited-edition shoes are set to hit the market in April 2025, further solidifying the synergy between high-performance automotive design and cutting-edge sportswear.

2022 McLaren P1

The 2022 McLaren P1 is the first of the five P1 Spiders being built. It was due to be delivered at the end of 2022 and made to run through till the end of 2023, although most of the allocation is almost reserved. This hypercar is rarer than the Seminal 2013 hypercar, which had only 375 copies built and sold, even though the number of this model going to be sold has not yet been told to us.

Features

The new 2022 Mc Laren P1 doesn’t come without some notable changes and features. The body changes amount to a bit of extra stiffening in the chassis, a new panel that shows off more of what the V8 entails, and carbon buttresses were put in place of the sloping rear roofline.

The features embedded in the front seats are a height-adjustable driver seat, 6-way manual driver seat adjustment, and a 4-way manual passenger seat adjustment.

The Exterior

The body of this model is shaped like an aerospace sports car, while the trunk is made to resemble a hoverboard. It comes in various colors, from black, white, and metallic blue to silver and many other beautiful colors. The blending of these features by McLaren is just awesome.

The dimensions of this model are just right for its performance. It is 178.9 inches long, 47 inches high, and 81.6 inches wide without considering the side mirrors. With a wheelbase of 105.1 inches, its maximum cargo capacity with all seats in place, of course, is 12.7 cubic feet. While it weighs 1395kg, its ground clearance is 4.2 inches.

Lanzante thought it wise tore-shape the decklid to cool the engine. He did this without disarraying the car’s timeless design. The A pills were strengthened and reinforced. Redesigning the door also gave Lanzante a tough time, as they ordinarily have hinges on the A-pillars and the roof.

The Interior

While the body of this model comes in various colors, the interior switches between just two colors, black and metallic ash, and the 2022 P1 has just two seats capable of carrying two persons. The two front seats are made to be sports seats to suit the build of the vehicle. Alcantara and leather upholstery, the best covers, are used for the seats. It is a beautiful thing that all seats here are adjustable.

A great percentage of the cabin surfaces are now upholstered in a special SuperFabric, apart from the Alcantara, that is both weather- and UV-resistant. This other feature makes up for the lack of a roof. Various touches of satin carbon fiber and gloss black have also been applied throughout to give the vehicle a classy look.

Performance and Engine

The drivetrain of this model remains unchanged, as per the coupe. Its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which goes with an electric motor, still has a maximum power of 903bhp and produces 664 lb-ft of torque. 7-Speed Automatic transmission and rear drive wheel are features of this hybrid engine. In about 2.8 seconds, this motor climbs from 0-62 mph with a top speed of 218 mph. In all, no mechanical changes whatsoever were made.

The fuel type required is premium unleaded. There are no values for its range in miles in the city, highway, and combined. However, we know that its fuel tank capacity is 19.0 gallons.

Pricing

“One unit of the 2022 McLean P1 Spider will have a starting price of £2.4m., Lanzante told TG in one of their meetings. He says, however, that this price doesn’t go for the Spider alone, as it includes a ‘donor’ McLaren P1 coupe. Again, he added that the price would naturally drop if a customer is happy to chop up their car.

There are several packages, like the interior and exterior options, including safety options, that a customer can choose from, although this will increase the car’s sale price.

A basic warranty of 3 years for unlimited miles is given, a Rust warranty of 10 years for unlimited miles, and a drivetrain warranty of 3 years/for unlimited miles.
