The Los Angeles, California-based Platinum Motorsport Group prides itself on being one of the major North American leaders in the customization area for decades.
And we trust Kim Kardashian made the right choice when giving them access to her ritzy car collection. But they also love to dabble with other stuff, including the virtual realm of social media. So, in their latest YouTube channel vlog episode, we are getting a major string of novelties.
Something about Kim K was only understandable, right? Thus, the video embedded below features an update on the progress around her upcoming Mansory Lambo Urus – because when trying to stand out in any crowd, you can only go fully outrageous, right? Plus, they also dabble with a full Novitec Lambo Aventador SVJ build, as well as a “wild Brabus 800 Mercedes-AMG G 63 project,” among others.
But the main attraction on this occasion is a British ultra-luxury coach-door SUV, not the Italian thoroughbreds or the German posh yet high-performance off-roader. So, they are putting under the virtual social media spotlight a complete, fresh Mansory Rolls-Royce Cullinan design build.
The project includes almost everything one needs to make sure they will be as conspicuous as possible – either for right or wrong reasons. But that is for you to decide and for us to report on the goodies. The latter consist of (but are probably not limited to) a complete widebody aerodynamic kit from Mansory, lots of exposed carbon fiber add-ons, forged 24-inch Mansory monoblock wheels, Pirelli performance tires, and a subtly lowered stance by way of adjustable lowering links.
As always, beauty is only in the eye of the beholder. But this Rolls-Royce Cullinan (probably a Black Badge, considering all the contrasting black details) does have a few interesting tidbits going for it, and we are not only meaning about the privacy offered by the all-around tinted windows. Instead, the good folks over at Platinum also did a customized monogram coach line to make sure the owner would recognize his or her vehicle from anywhere.
Mansory has proved multiple times that they know how to tune cars the right way, and one of their latest projects to have been shared on social media doesn’t scream kitschy through its pores at all.
It is an Audi RS Q8 with various upgrades inside and out, and under the hood, which seems worthy of sitting in the parking lots of some of the most exclusivist places on earth.
As we’ve become accustomed to over the years, Mansory doesn’t tend to give its builds new bumpers. The same goes for the German super crossover too, which retains the OEM ones, albeit with numerous add-ons. These comprise the attachments around the side air intakes and apron with side blades up front. The vented hood also came from the tuning company.
At the rear, it has a six-fin diffuser, with a conceptual placement of the tailpipes that are part of the sports exhaust system. Two spoilers bedeck the tailgate, and this RS Q8 also sports fender flares and more aggressive side skirts. Mansory’s logo can be seen at the front and rear, and the vehicle rides on new wheels, with red accents. The same hue has been used on other parts of the exterior, slightly contrasting the dark looks and aftermarket parts that were made of carbon fiber.
A single image of the interior was shared at the time of writing, and it shows the gear selector, with Mansory branding. Nonetheless, you can bet your bottom dollar on the fact that their emblem can be seen on various other parts, and that the cockpit sports new upholstery too.
Power has been increased from 600 ps (592 hp / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque to 780 ps (769 hp / 574 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). As a result of the extra oomph, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 rockets it to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds, and up to 320 kph (199 mph). This means that it is half a second faster than the stock RS Q8, which tops out at 250 kph (155 mph).
They do say that the devil is in the details, and in this case, that’s where you should look. At the front, sides, and rear, and then take a peek inside, and you will know that it’s not your run-of-the-mill Urus. It has Novitec behind it, a tuner known for bringing out the beast within some of the most expensive vehicles on the planet, without exaggerating with the modifications.
Definitely not an OTT build, the pictured super SUV from the Sant’Agata Bolognese marque features a Viola Pasifae look on the outside. It also sports all sorts of attachments at the front, and rear, has carbon fiber side mirror caps, two spoilers, one on the tailgate, and the other one on the roof, hood attachment, and a few other bits and bobs. Also signed by the tuner, the 23-inch wheels have a shiny black finish, purple center caps, and center locking. The Y-spoke alloys are hugged by sticky tires from Pirelli, and spin around the black brake calipers.
The seats aren’t that special at all for a Lamborghini Urus, and neither is the Bianco Polar leather upholstery wrapped around them, on the center console, and parts of the door cards. The steering wheel has a leather/suede combo, still displaying the OEM logo in the middle, which can also be seen on the headrests. Ambient lighting bathes the cabin at night, and this copy also has a panoramic roof, rear-seat entertainment system according to the vendor, leather-edging on the floor mats with double stitching, premium audio from Bang & Olufsen, and the three-screen setup.
While not everyone might agree that a Rolls-Royce Cullinan is their ultra-luxury SUV cup of OEM tea, there is an entire world of aftermarket builds out there to change that. And some are decidedly more enticing than others.
Almost unthinkable just a few years ago, there is now a “sea” of ultra-luxury and super-SUVs vying for the affluent client’s attention, from Bentaygas to DBX707s and from Lambo Uruses to G-Class off-roaders, with a splash of Escalade, Range Rover, and more in between. But, according to many aftermarket outlets, until the upcoming Ferrari Purosangue poses a V12 threat, there is only one to rule them all.
That, at least in the United States, would be the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. And if the full-size SUV is also a Black Badge, that’s even better. Alas, do not think that OEM bespoke is enough, as many outlets know that they really need something special to properly stand out in the ultra-luxury crowd. Well, the good folks over at Atlanta, Georgia-based Road Show International have yet another treat “for the culture” that was already sold before we even saw it and it reached the usual “up for grabs” RS Edition status.
Naturally, that probably means it was more than enticing, in more than one way. So, let us dive a little deeper and check out some of the highlights that helped this unique example to quickly get away before anyone even had the chance to DM the aftermarket outlet about its pricing quotation. Well, the name should give us a few hints, since it is a Mansory-dressed Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge.
But the tuning kit is only part of the deal, especially given the stunning Satin Metallic Brown exterior colorway that may or may not bode well for the red-and-black (plus carbon fiber) interior, depending on one’s personal preferences. Alas, those are little to no consequence now that it is already sold, so let us move on. That is how we reach the long list of RS Edition options, which includes perks such as the RS Stage 1 Performance Package, among many visual additions, like the contrasting-black Forgiato wheels.
With help from the tuning enhancements, now the 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 behemoth has reached a total of 663 horsepower and can jump to 62 mph/100 kph in a mere 4.2 seconds on its way to the higher than stock 170 mph/274 kph maximum speed. Cool, right?
While new entries like the Aston Martin DBX707 or Bentley Bentayga EWB, along with the upcoming Ferrari Purosangue, will try to snatch away the spotlight from Rolls-Royce’s Cullinan, it seems nothing will jeopardize its imperturbable calm. Well, save for humongous gas prices, of course.
The good folks over at Hollywood, California-based RDB LA unintentionally sparked an entire confusion-related discussion when showcasing one of their most recent builds. While it has not been included in one of the latest vlog episodes on YouTube, this all-black Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge that fully adheres to murdered-out principles still got a little shout-out (or two) on their Instagram page.
There, it posed standing still, for everyone to see its goodies: the black body and matching deep-dish spindle aftermarket wheels, the tiny spec of contrasting red brake calipers, as well as the massive Novitec widebody aerodynamic kit, among many others. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the interior POV and those tinted windows plus windshield are not making it easier to throw in a peek.
Additionally, there is little to no information regarding what changes were made for this custom build – aside from the obvious murdered-out attire, lowered stance, and cool widebody tricks, that is. Albeit people might not even need a lengthy description for this custom ride because they already knew how to get thoroughly “entertained” once the static photoshoot ended and they jumped on board the quick video feature embedded second below.
In there, the Novitec Rolls-Royce Cullinan widebody rolled stealthily past an Arco gas station and all humongous prices hell broke loose in the comments section. Seriously, one can easily read all those and jump from ecstasy to horror as some commented it is “normal life” in California to see $5.99 to $6.43 gas prices nowadays. Meanwhile, others told them to see the half-filled part of the glass, as Old Continent residents have $8.3 per gallon prices in certain regions, and over in Singapore, they are “joyfully” heading towards the $10 mark…
It’s very expensive, posh, white, and has posed for the camera on Florida’s coast. Thus we had to say something about Miami Vice, even if this Rolls-Royce Cullinan has absolutely nothing in common with the Ferrari Testarossa that was one of the stars of the popular ‘80s TV show.
With that off our chest, we’ve got to ask you if you can spot the tuner behind this build. Think about it for a moment, and it is likely that Mansory’s name won’t pop up in your mind. But this is the company that has had its way with it, sharing a few pictures of it on social media earlier this week.
Having more restraint looks than the Black Badge model that we wrote about last weekend, it is actually quite appealing for something that came from Mansory. Novelties include the front, side, and rear attachments, and a few other bits and bobs. Several black elements provide contrast to the white body, and the wheels may look OEM, which is the right way to do it if you ask us, but they came from Mansory as well.
Usually, whenever they decide to share another project with their social media followers, Mansory provides a few images of the cockpit. More often than not, it has gone down the OTT route, with extremely lively colors used throughout, bedecked by new trim, and their logos that are mostly visible on the headrests, seatbacks, and floor mats. Nonetheless, in this case, they haven’t released any pictures of the interior, so we have no idea if they have done anything to it.
Another big unknown is the engine, which pushes out 562 hp (570 ps / 419 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. The twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 enables a 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in less than 6 seconds in the stock Cullinan, which can max out at 155 mph (250 kph). Still, extra oomph is on the menu at Mansory, with the previously-mentioned Black Badge getting 600 horsepower.
After launching their first take on Porsche’s new Taycan, DMC is now back. Introducing a brand new 2022 iteration of its Aero Kit for the fully electric Porsche: Introducing the new DMC Taycan GT3.
The Taycan is one of the latest models that Porsche has launched, and it didn’t come without polarizing features. Some think its design is too much off the traditional Porsche DNA, while others have welcomed the new style. DMC, Super Car Tuner from Germany, decided to bring all sides together by creating a new Taycan, that aims to please both sides.
DMC decided for a subtle yet aggressive with a professinal enhancement which not only supports the Taycan’s stock power, but also creates an aggressive looking beast: A carbon fiber aero-package, combined with professional 22-inch forged wheels, developed with Canadian rim manufacturer PUR WHEELS, which optimally fill out the available space under the wheel arches.
The German designers used the latest Aerodynamic Software to develop a body styling kit that makes the Taycan even more streamlined and aerodynamically efficient. Gone are the days of analogue wind-tunnel tests which are good but bear too many factors for errors. With the new aero-kit styling, the Porsche Taycan received an even more extravagant appearance. The components are manufactured from especially light yet high-strength naked carbon and give a matte or glossy coating.
In order to improve the rear up-lift, and thus achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance, DMC enhanced the Tacyan with a combination of 2 spoilers on the rear trunk lid. The bigger rear wing adds needed downforce, which comes in handy when the Taycan is used on track or curvy roads during performance events. It is installed on top of a smaller duck spoiler, which also can be used stand-alone. Clients that don’t like big aero-specs will love the elegant duck spoiler which covers the OEM rear wing. It has an integrated trunk lip wing, which lightly reduces rear-axle lift and adds a sporty appearance to the rear fascia.
For clients that truly want to stand-out of the crowd, DMC is making use of its sister company ZESAD’s CNC services. The brackets that hold the wing to its base spoiler are individually crafted from forged aluminium. ZESAD can draft 3D files with the clients logo, it’s name or any other design, make the legs taller or shorter (subject to aero-calculations) and hence make a truly 1 of 1 custom product.
As for the rims, PUR WHEELS has been a long-year partner for DMC and they have produced some of the excellent wheels we have seen on DMC’s cars that were exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show. The wheel design for the Porsche Taycan is no different. Even though the vehicle pictured in this press release is not the standard DMC / PUR iteration, a full package is available on request. These wheels sport five delicate double spokes and are mounted on the Taycan’s front axle in size 10Jx22 with 11.5Jx22 on the rear.
As usual, DMC also fulfills the personal wishes of every customer in the cockpit with perfectly finished leather and Alcantara interiors. There is no limit when it comes to personal taste, and the the selection of colors is just as infinite as the range of designs. Depending on country of residence, this range can even include exotic leathers such as croco and others.
After all these years, Mansory continues to surprise us every now and then with the occasional project that’s actually good looking – guess that’s the foundation of a healthy relationship.
The model in question is the new Rolls-Royce Ghost, which isn’t exactly a novelty, considering that we last wrote about it almost one year ago. However, in this instance, the opulent four-door has embraced its dark side, and it’s a head-turning ride for all the right reasons.
Contrasted by the red pin stripe and a few other touches in the same color, the black exterior has also received a few add-ons in visible carbon fiber. The lightweight material has been used for the front apron, side skirts, and rear bumper trim. The forged carbon hood and V.6 wheels with red center caps round off the stylistic changes on the outside.
While the pictured Ghost clearly has a black and white leather interior, Mansory has shared a picture of a very lively cockpit likely belonging to another example. This one has a bit too much red in it for our taste, from the seats, and door cards, to the dashboard, steering wheel, and center console. A few black accents provide minimal contrast, and the tuner’s logo has been embossed in the seatbacks.
Just like their previous take on the Rolls-Royce Ghost, this one also boasts a healthy power boost. According to Mansory, it has 720 ps (710 hp / 530 kW) and 1,020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque available via the throttle and can deal with the 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds.
By comparison, the stock Ghost is two tenths of a second slower and can keep pushing up to a top speed electronically capped at 155 mph (250 kph). Its twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 is good for 571 ps (563 hp / 420 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft).

German Tuner DMC has developed a strong affinity for Porsche over the recent years. In particular the latest 992 model has received lots of attention from the Duesseldorf Engineers.
So it came to no surprise when a wealthy Chinese individual has approached the team to ask for a GT3 RS Concept Study. Since the car hasn’t been officially launched by Porsche in 2021, when the project started, DMC decided to take a visual design approach, rather than a complete package.
The idea was born to incorporate Stuttgart Retro DNA, which lead the tuner to apply the epic Porsche 997 Design.
When the 997 GT3RS was unveiled in 2006, its muscular-looking rear end concealed a wider track that not only improved directional stability but also increased the potential cornering grip. Drag was increased and top speed reduced due to the larger rear wing as well. It was a car that was radical back then and still is nowadays, it truly became a young icon.
To recreate this retro design for the 992, DMC’s designers decided to first reverse engineer the duck wing that held the 997 GT3RS wing, and adapt it for the 992 rear base. Unlike the recent 992 GT3, which holds the wing above its center vents, the previous generations of Porsche RS cars had always installed the aerodynamic spoiler on the engine bonnet.
For the next step, DMC did a 3D scan of an original 997 GT3RS wing, and ported it’s design to match the reverse engineered duck spoiler. Just like the original, the wing is completely adaptable in angles, allowing for a variety of street, track and cruise settings.
Looking at the final result, one could beg the question – if this is necessary at all? The purpose of this project was never to create the next GT3 RS, the base car was too weak to start with. But it’s a beautiful example that shows DMC’s passion for cars, and one of their basic principles when designing their aerodynamic solutions. To create a product that doesn’t look tuned or aftermarket at all. To stay in line with the original design, instead of making something that looks slapped on. And to honour the car in questions DNA and history by using a retro approach. The car was presented in Shanghai to a very happy client that can be sure to have a 1 of 1 concept study. DC Town lead the project locally and took some amazing photos of the unveiling, let us know in the comments what you think!
German Tuner DMC has started 2022 with a bang into digital life. It’s accepting Crypto for payments, announed a Limited NFT collection in the Metaverse, and celebrates it’s new exclusive Ferrari GTB Package: Introducing the DMC 296 “Squalo”
It really seems that last year was all about NFTs and the Crypto Hype. But how does that fit into the life of a Car Tuner? With the launch of its brand new Ferrari 296 package, clients now have the choice to pay with Crypto Currencies such as BitCoin. “There have already been transactions in the past”, explains DMC’s Business Development manager Thorsten Grebers, “so it just made sense to add them as a payment option. And we are not stopping there. We have launched an exclusive NFT collection: It is not based on a Retropixel 2D image, but 3D copy of the car. As such, it can be enjoyed in the Metaverse or DMC’s own Augmented Reality app. If you are interested to learn more, visit www.DMC.ag/NFT “.
But DMC wouldn’t be able to go digital, if it hadn’t made itself a name for extreme real world cars. The 296 “Squalo”, which is Italian for Shark, is just another example for that.
The 296 is Ferraris first attempt on a V6/Electro Hybrid, which means you can choose between electricity or fossil fuel. DMC loved the idea and went to the drawing board, coming up with a package that supplements the GTB: The German tuner started with a subtle engine tuning that unleashes a peak output of 888 hp total (combined from the 3 Liter twin-turbo six-cylinder and the electric engines). The electric engines were obviously not touched, so they still supply their individual power and torque (165bhp and 232lb ft). This revised engine catapults the Roma to 200 km/h in just 7.1 seconds.
But the Engineers from Duesseldorf didn’t stop there: The DMC CFAEC (Carbon Fiber Aerodynamic Enhancement Components) not only support the additional power, but also create an aggressive looking shark, hence the name Squalo. Professional 21-inch and 22-inch forged wheels, developed with Canadian rim manufacturer PUR WHEELS, optimally fill out the available space under the wheel arches. And lastly, the company’s range also includes suspension modifications as well as the customization of the interior – tailored to the customer’s personal preferences.
PERFORMANCE DMC has has been performing engine tuning since 2009 to make super cars even more sporty. In the 296’s case, it has to be noted that the actual 3-liter Twin-Turbo V6 in the 296 GTB remains untouched. The performance upgrade was achieved in several steps:
In order to optimize the power delivery further, the engineers of the tuner developed modified controls for the electronic engine management system. All output levels use a DMC control module, which introduces specifically calibrated mapping for injection and ignition. It also upgrades the electronic boost pressure control. These measures benefit more than just the power delivery. They also further optimize the throttle response and the powerful in-gear acceleration. When comparing with the stock 296, the peak output of the six-cylinder engine increases by 80 hp from 653 HP to 723 HP (Petrol Engine). The GTB now sprints from 0 – 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed in excess of 308 km/h.
AERO-DYNAMICS The German designers used the latest Aerodynamic Software to develop a body styling kit that makes the GTB even more streamlined and aerodynamically efficient. Gone are the days of analogue wind-tunnel tests which are good but bear too many factors for errors. With the new “Squalo” styling, the Ferrari 296 GTB received an even more extravagant appearance, while adding the downforce needed for the new power. All bodywork components are manufactured from especially light yet high-strength naked carbon and given a matte or glossy coating.
The DMC 296 Rear Spoiler adds needed downforce and and gives the GTB an aggressive rear fascia. Downforce is well needed since the new engine spec is so powerful that the car needs an optimized stability at high speeds. The DMC side skirts attach directly to the stock side rocker panels and give the Ferrari a lower and sleeker visual stance in the side view and optimize the airflow between the front and rear wheel arches. In order to improve the rear up-lift, and thus achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance, DMC enhanced the 296 with a lip spoiler on the rear trunk lid. Further upgrades are the rear diffuser insert, all which reduce rear-axle lift.
WHEELS PUR WHEELS has been a long-year partner for DMC and they have produced some of the excellent wheels we have seen on DMC’s cars that were exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show. The wheel design for the Ferrari 296 Squalo is no different. The vehicle pictured in this press release sports black DMC alloys with brushed surface. These wheels with five delicate double spokes are mounted on the Roma’s front axle in size 9Jx21 with tires of size 255/30 ZR 21. The 12Jx22 rims on the rear axle carry tires of size 315/25 ZR 22.
OTHER The DMC sport springs are a new addition to DMC’s product line up, one however that perfectly makes sense. They are tailored specifically to these high-performance tires and lower the ride height of the Ferrari by about 35 millimeters.
